Alyssa’s words left everyone stunned. 

The others eyed Sophia oddly, one after another. 

They had no idea that the beautiful woman before them was Jasper’s ex–wife. They only thought that Alyssa must be from a prestigious family with a background worth billions. She had such 

confidence to confront Javier Beckett’s wife! 

Sophia was so infuriated that her body trembled. She sneered, “Look at you, Alice. You’ve changed now that you’ve found someone better to leech onto. I never realized you could be so eloquent in the past.” 

Alyssa raised her eyebrows. She was completely indifferent to Sophia’s mockery. 

“I treat others the way they treat me. I speak politely to those who are polite to me and straightforward to those who are rude. What does that have to do with leeching onto others?” 

Sophia’s face turned red. She was completely frustrated. 

“Ms. White, my mom is your senior. How can you be so disrespectful?!” Betty immediately refuted after seeing her mother being humiliated. She looked like a mad dog on a leash. 

Alyssa chuckled coldly. 

Betty inherited Sophia’s calculating nature, but she wasn’t cunning. She couldn’t be bothered with such a shallow woman and didn’t want to waste time on her. 

Sean couldn’t take it anymore and stepped forward sternly, blocking Alyssa. “Everyone could see who started it. It’s clear who tried to stir up trouble!” 

“Huh! Not only do you have Mr. Taylor to back you up, but also this gentleman here. You have quite the army of men ready to fend you, Ms. White,” Liana taunted from the side. 

“Liana, it’s easy for you to spread rumors. But have you considered the consequences? Are you willing to pay the price?” Alyssa’s sharp gaze pierced through her icily. 

Liana’s heart shrank slightly. She used to think Alyssa was just a simple and weak country girl. But now, she felt afraid of her. The more she got to know her, the more unpredictable she seemed. 

“Ms. White, I sincerely feel that your appearance here is very untimely. We’re only looking out for you,” Rosaline said sarcastically. Then, she smiled viciously. “After all, you got involved in Lia and Jasper’s relationship. And it was all because of your ignorance. It ended up with you in an 

awkward position.” 

She added, “Although we didn’t blame you for your mistakes, it’s inappropriate for you to come 

Jasper. But it might be embarrassing for you if others see you.”

Liana listened to Rosaline’s words gleefully and smiled darkly. Truly, her mother was still the 

same, She was as sharp as ever! 

After listening to her words, the crowd looked at Alyssa with surprise and disdain. So, she was Jasper’s unknown’ex–wife. She was even the third person in the relationship! How despicable! 

“Me? Involved with them? Mrs. Gardner, your brain is as rotten as the furniture produced by your company.” Alyssa showed no signs of anger. Instead, she burst into laughter. 

“You…” Rosaline’s eyes turned red with anger. 

“Jasper was single when I married him. It’s not my fault that your precious daughter broke up with him. After all, she couldn’t withstand the pressure. But what did your daughter do while I 

was married to him, Mrs. Gardner? Do you need me to list how she clung to my husband?” 

Rosaline and Liana’s faces turned pale in an instant. 

Liana was so frightened that she fell silent. Even though she was in Mosgravia during those three 

years, she still tried every means to meddle in their relationship. 

She had also sent numerous offensive messages to Alice. She even cursed her over the phone. However, Alice had always endured silently without retaliating. 

All her wrongdoings would be exposed if she really brought up the past. 

“Sean, show them.” Alyssa narrowed her eyes. 

Sean immediately complied. He took a piece of paper from his briefcase and showed it to 

everyone. 

They were all dumbfounded. 

It was a marriage certificate. The papers were a slap in Rosaline and Liana’s faces. 

“See, Jasper and I haven’t officially divorced yet. The process hasn’t been completed. But some people just can’t wait to steal what others have.” Alyssa’s red lips turned into a devilish smile. 

Liana’s face immediately turned red. She felt out of breath. 

It was so outrageous that anyone would carry their marriage certificate on hand. But that was just how unpredictable and extraordinary Alyssa Taylor was.
