Chapter 52
The rogue played silently.
Silvia couldn’t help but deal with him, after all, he was a patient, and it was necessary to treat him well.
Moreover, Frederick unexpectedly got a fever, probably from getting caught in the rain on the way to Phoenix.
The green light came on.
On this night in Washington, D.C., a misty autumn rain unexpectedly fell.
As the raindrops rhythmically fell, they blurred the view in front of the windshield, and the rain faintly distorted the distant neon colors, either magnifying or muddying them.

The closed car windows and doors intensified the temperature inside the car.
Frederick unbuttoned the top two buttons of his collar, revealing his sickly flushed and muscular chest, rising and falling with his breath.
His eyes were burning, looking at the street scene outside the car window that was moving backward, as if he was dreaming.
“Don’t sleep yet, we’re almost there,” Silvia noticed his heavy breathing, and her foot on the accelerator never let go.
“Sss-”
The license plate number that almost walked sideways in Washington, D.C. finally
appeared at the entrance of the People’s Hospital.
Silvia quickly got out of the car and went to

the passenger side to pull the person.
“Frederick?”
The man frowned, his eyelids incredibly heavy, and he obediently got out of the car following Silvia’s voice.
But Silvia noticed that his legs were weak. Just as she was about to say something, a person with a pale face came towards them.
“Hey…”
Fortunately, Silvia had a stable footing, otherwise both of them would have fallen in
the autumn rain.
The duty nurse at the hospital entrance quickly called her colleagues to help support the person.
Silvia stayed outside the door, waiting for Frederick to be examined.

Not long after, the doctor came out, “High fever, it’s already 40 degrees, why was he only brought here now?”!
Silvia was shocked, “40 degrees?”
No wonder Frederick, who looked so strong, was burning and couldn’t stand on his legs.
The doctor prescribed antipyretics and gave Frederick an injection to reduce the fever.
The rest of the time, Silvia stayed by his side as a caregiver.
In the middle of the night, she didn’t want to bother Frederick’s secretary.
On the sickbed.
The man’s cheeks were still slightly red, his lips were pale from the fever, but he didn’t look as serious and dignified as usual when he was asleep.

Silvia was also tired and sleepy, so she lay down by the bed and fell asleep. In her
dream, she seemed to see Frederick holding her hand, gently patting her back, and telling her to sleep well in bed.
Silvia muttered a few words, but didn’t pay attention.
In reality, in the dim and quiet hospital room, Frederick leaned against the bed, holding Silvia’s hand, and Silvia instinctively held his hand back.
Frederick’s gaze was somewhat absent–minded.
Because just now, when he asked Silvia to go to the rest bed over there to sleep, she
murmured, “I can’t go, I still have to take care of you.”
Frederick slowly smiled.

Taking care of him, she’s sleeping so soundly.
He lay on his side, still not letting go of Silvia’s hand, just looking at the woman who was so close.
He didn’t know where his childlike
innocence came from, but he actually reached out and gently touched Silvia’s eyelashes.
Her eyelashes were really long, much prettier than Iris’s.
Her eyebrows were also thick, much better than those semi–permanent ones.
Her skin was fair and tender, no one would believe she was in her mid–twenties.
Silvia is really good.
Fortunately, that Raphael is a blind fool.

“Frederick, can you please stop touching my eyelashes?” Silvia muttered, quite cute.
With one hand resting on his ear, Frederick raised an eyebrow and asked in a hoarse voice, “Are you not asleep?”
“I am asleep,” Silvia closed her eyes and didn’t move.
So, is she really asleep or awake?
But Silvia thought she was dreaming.
Seeing that she didn’t move, didn’t open her eyes, Frederick guessed that she probably thought she was dreaming, and his
expression changed, “Did you dream about me?”
The woman remained silent for a moment before answering, “I dreamt about you.”
“What did you dream about me?” He

pinched Silvia’s pinky finger and played with it, his tone particularly doting.
But this time, Silvia didn’t speak.
Frederick’s voice was like flowing water, making people inexplicably relaxed, “Silvia, can President Tudor protect you in the future?”
Silvia finally moved.
She originally turned her face towards the left, but now she turned towards Frederick, and their breaths seemed to entwine, indistinguishable from each other.
Frederick’s gaze was deep and
unfathomable, only falling on
falling on her still closed eyes.
She was asleep and didn’t know if she heard Frederick’s words.

Morning.
Silvia got up with a sore waist and back, and her neck seemed to have a hint of a stiff
neck.
She was awakened by Iris who came in.Iris came in carrying a bunch of fruits and said, “Oh, big brother is still alive, congratulations.”
Frederick, who had already woken up, replied expressionlessly, “Looks like I’ve disappointed you again.‘
Iris happily pulled a chair to the bedside and said, “Goddess, you should go back to sleep. I’ll stay here.”
Silvia’s head felt foggy, as if she had been dreaming all night.

In her dream, Frederick seemed to have asked her, “Would you let President Tudor protect you in the future?”
Silvia felt strange just thinking about it and didn’t dare to look at Frederick.
She got up and walked out.
“Sister–in–law?” Silvia turned around.
Erica walked over holding a medical form and asked, “What’s wrong with you? Are you sick?”
“No,” Silvia wanted to say it was Frederick, but changed her mind and said, “A friend is sick.”
“You don’t look well either, haven’t rested well?” Erica didn’t rush to find the doctor for the test results and followed her closely.
Silvia went to the bathroom and washed her

face.
“Aren’t you going to get tested?” Erica smiled and said, “No hurry, let me tell you some good news.”
“What is it?”
“Raphael and Adeline had a fight. He slept at my parents‘ place last night.” Erica looked very pleased with herself.
Silvia doubted whether they were really siblings when she saw her expression.
“Since we bumped into each other, let’s have breakfast together?” Erica was very
enthusiastic.
“No, I have a friend with me.”
“Then let’s all go together!”
Iris saw Erica at the door of the ward and

hurried back, saying, “Big brother, my goddess’s former sister–in–law is here!”
In the next second, the weak man lying on the hospital bed stood up and put on the suit jacket brought by Iris.
Erica blinked and looked at the man and woman who appeared in confusion.
She looked at Silvia and asked, “Who is this… your friend?”
Erica couldn’t possibly not know Frederick, the most beloved object of affection for flight attendants from all major airlines!
Erica quickly reacted, “Hello, President Tudor! Then… let’s have breakfast together?”
Frederick had just finished getting an
injection and had a band–aid on the back of his hand.

He said, “Sure.”
His gaze swept over Erica twice, making Erica break into a sweat.
She wasn’t a man, why was he giving her that warning look?
There was no choice.
Erica dragged Silvia to a nearby restaurant.
The four of them sat down, and the Tudor siblings intentionally or unintentionally gave Erica unfriendly looks.
Erica, however, seemed oblivious and pushed the menu towards the two of them, saying, “You can order first!”
