Eleanor shook her head. “The surveillance footage we found is too blurry. I can’t see the woman’s face clearly. Oswald hugged her and covered her body.”
“Is the footage with you now?” I asked.
Eleanor handed me her phone and sent me a surveillance video. There were many people on the street that night, and Oswald’s figure in the video fleeting. He was wearing the tailored coat I ironed for him, and his tall figure stood out. He had his left arm around a woman wearing a pink top, but her figure was partially obscured by his large frame.

I zoomed in on the footage, but it was still the same. I couldn’t make out the woman’s face at all, and Oswald was wearing a white shirt and tie under his coat.
“He planned this carefully. He’s so cunning!” I said, my tears clouding my eyes.
Eleanor silently walked over and sat next to me before embracing my shoulders. I held the phone in my hand, unable to speak through my tears. “That night, I saw Oswald on a live stream and sent him the video link.”
I paused to calm down myself. “He found a restaurant and took off his outer coat. Then he stood in the hallway of the restaurant and video- called me! Ha. He is cunning. He deceived me calmly.”
I laughed maniacally. After pouring myself a glass of wine, I downed it in one gulp. Eleanor didn’t try to stop me.

I nodded firmly. Eleanor analyzed all the possibilities for me. I felt myself becoming rigid. I understood that Eleanor made sense. She was afraid that if I acted too resolutely, I would lose everything I had before. But even if N didn’t act resolutely, could I still go back to the way things were?
The answer was not. I couldn’t!
So, I nodded firmly. “I’ve made up my mind!”
Eleanor stared at me for a while. “I’ll help you!”
When I left Eleanor’s place, my mind was unusually clear, like a lost wild goose finally finding its way.
Oswald returned early. He was playing with Jocelyn in the small living room. Of course, kids didn’t lie. She babbled about how beautiful Eleanor’s big house was. I busied myself with preparing dinner and casually expressed my satisfaction with Golden Mansion. Secretly, I observed Oswald, who was muddling through it, but it was obvious that he had something on his mind.

The next day.
I dressed myself and sent Jocelyn back to kindergarten. Then I went directly to my company and entered Oswald’s office, only to find that he hadn’t arrived yet.
Orlando saw me and hurried over. “Mrs. Price, why are you here?”
As I looked at Orlando’s obsequious smile, I thought of the disgusting image of him in my phone and the alliance between him and Oswald. I said with certainty, “Starting today, I’m going to work in the company!”
