Chapter 45 Not Missing Any Opportunity
Thinking of this, I immediately called Eleanor, asking about the coat. Upon hearing this, she exclaimed, “Oh my God, I completely forgot, it’s still at the dry cleaners!”
“It’s okay, I’ll go get it myself!” I hung up the phone and was about to get up, but suddenly remembered, I didn’t have Raymon’s number yet.
I sat back down, turned on the computer, and searched for Raymon’s phone number, but I came back empty–handed. I couldn’t find this person at all. It seemed that he really wasn’t any important personnel at Broadray Vision, otherwise it wouldn’t be impossible to find him.

I was replaying his image in my head, his demeanor was indeed quite extraordinary. But then again, it’s to be expected. In a big company like Broadray Vision, any employee you pull out wouldn’t be bad.
Before I could figure out how to find Raymon’s phone number, I received a call from Oswald, asking me to come to his office. I got up and left.
It was only upon arrival that I realized Oswald wanted me to verify the information from my last visit to Broadray Vision. I explained it to him very seriously, I wouldn’t be vague about this. After all, this was a big deal, and Prosper Materials was a company I had founded myself. I couldn’t do anything that would go against the development of Prosper Materials.
I specifically instructed Oswald to focus on the exclusive new product.
Before I could finish giving instructions, Orlando walked in, reporting to Oswald that there was a cocktail party held by the industry association. He had just received the notification and obtained the list of attendees.
I also looked at that list. a light bulb went off in my head, this was indeed

a great opportunity. I took a closer look, many large companies were on the list.
I asked Oswald to accompany me to a cocktail party. Oswald was not very willing, but under my persistent request to broaden my horizons, I finally got his support and appeared at the party with him.
In the past, I rarely attended such cocktail parties. I would always delegate such public appearances to Oswald. After all, in my heart, he was the head of the family, and I was content to stay behind the scenes.
But now, times have changed, he is no longer that Oswald. Of course, I couldn’t give up any opportunity that would allow me to get involved in this industry.
At the meeting, I finally saw Raymon as I wished, he was majestic and in no way inferior to those potbellied bosses.
He had always been following a refined middle–aged man, his demeanor cool and steady.
I discreetly inquired and found out that the middle–aged man was Zack Parker, the General Manager of Broadray Vision Sponia’s headquarters! He was the one who should have appeared at the bidding meeting that day.
I chuckled, so that’s how it was. That is to say, Raymon could possibly be his assistant or something like that.
There were many familiar clients at the cocktail party, all of whom I had a long–standing relationship with. I took this opportunity to meet them all. They still had a deep impression of me and asked why I had been in retirement for so many years.
I stood by Oswald’s side, acting like a delicate little bird, pretending to be blissfully happy, and uniformly answering everyone that I was just staying at home, being a dutiful wife and mother.

Oswald was even more charming, taking extra care of me, fully embodying the image of a protector of flowers. Don’t underestimate our company’s size, Oswald’s image and temperament were second to none, appearing all smiles and full of grace. However, what the eyes see may not necessarily be the truth.
While my spouse and I were playfully showing off our affection in front of everyone, Raymon, holding a glass of wine, walked over from behind Zack. His deep–set eyes casually swept over our group, his gaze settling on my face.
